BCA provides consulting services to
international agencies, government entities and private
companies in the field of development promotion and project
management. These activities imply:
- consulting services by staff;
- selection of Latin American
consultants for regional projects;
- creation of teams for
interdisciplinary projects;
- elaboration of projects for
regional agencies and international procurement;
- management of approved projects;
- preparation of assessments and
reports on approved development projects.
Since its foundation, BCA has developed
projects on the fields of:
- trade development initiatives;
- trade and investment facilitation;
- egional trade promotion;
- environmental regulations and
impacts;
- regulatory reforms and
privatization;
- competitiveness and private sector
development;
- legal and judicial reform.
Recent Activities:
Along the last three years, Mr.
Franceschini has led the team responsible for implementing the
legal framework for the Itaipu Technological Park. An ambitious
development project in Paraná State, the team has developed all
the aspects related to tax incentives, transfer of technology,
and compliance with international commitments.
As a project for SC Development Agency,
Mr. Pimentel organized a network of research centers in order to
promote innovative research and transfer of technology in
computer programming.
